Selling Bulk Wholesale Products at Flea Markets and Street Fairs

If you love street fairs and flea markets, you may be interested in this idea. You can buy bulk wholesale merchandise and sell that same bulk wholesale merchandise to other bulk wholesale vendors. Your investment in that product will be paid by the sale of a percentage of the bulk wholesale to another bulk wholesaler, wholesaler or retailer. In exchange, you partner with the other bulk wholesaler to buy some of the products they buy in bulk wholesale. Now you have an expanded and complementary product line to sell at a flea market or street fair. For example, one person buys bulk wholesale key chains with sports team logos. You buy bulk wholesale hats with sports team logos. You sell half of your hats to the other wholesaler and they sell half their key chains to you. The key here, if you will, is to agree that you will not sell at the same street fairs, so you do not compete with one another. It is therefore wise to find another street fair or flea market vendor who buys bulk wholesale in another region or state. Distance will ensure you will not be in competition.

As you attend and sell at these events, keep your eyes open for other products you can sell and strike up a deal with another vendor. The more partners you have, the more money you can make and the more diverse your products will be. You won’t have to spend the money upfront to buy and store more inventory than you need.  

Consider the products you see at your local flea markets. Many people make extra money by selling scarves, jewelry, CDs, T-shirts, tube socks, small electronics, and watches. All of these items are purchased as bulk wholesale goods and sold below retail. The buyer gets a good deal and you get a day in the great outdoors, with friendly people, a little extra spending cash! 

You can research bulk wholesalers in the yellow pages and online. Deal with those bulk wholesale suppliers who will provide references.  Keep in mind that many bulk wholesalers will send free samples of their goods before you buy bulk wholesale lots. Take advantage of these offers so you can analyze the quality of the goods before you buy.
